SATRAC launches Road Train Trailers too boost ops

To align with PM Gati Shakti and National Logistics Policy, and focus on reducing logistics costs, SATRAC has introduced the country’s first-ever Road Train Trailers. The concept — where two trailers are linked and hauled by a single prime mover — enables higher freight volume per trip. The innovation is designed to enhance long-haul freight efficiency and redefine standards of safety and performance across India’s supply chain network. This translates into fewer trips, lower fuel and manpower costs, and improved turnaround times. The increased payload directly reduces cost per tonne-kilometre, offering substantial savings for transporters and logistics operators.
