The cost of cargo safety and security compliance is relatively high in India thus the industry pushes voluntary compliance to the back seat. The biggest challenge is in developing and nurturing a safety and security culture in the industry, says B.Govindarajan, Founder & Chief Operating Officer, Tirwin Management Services.
