Bhiwandi has emerged as one of the largest warehousing regions due to its proximity to Nhava Sheva port which is catering to almost 70% of EX–IM cargo and often Primary majors are looking to set up their DCs near their entry point in the country. This has also moved the requirement of Grade A+ Infrastructure, QHSE norms and ESG Requirements to be followed and hence we can see lot of Investments from Infra Developers setting up large scale parks now in Bhiwandi. There have been huge initiatives taken from Government for Construction of Road Infrastructure as well like Samrudhi Express Highway, which is getting connected soon, thereby making ease of access to locations like Nashik to Nagpur and further hinterlands.
