The 49th ACAAI Convention takes off in Bali today

The wait is finally over. The 49th Annual Convention of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) will officially commenced today amidst the serene and scenic surroundings of Bali, Indonesia. The convention marks yet another milestone in ACAAI’s illustrious journey, bringing together industry leaders, visionaries and professionals from across the globe to discuss, deliberate, and drive the future of the air cargo and logistics industry.

The inaugural ceremony will begin on an auspicious note with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, graced by dignitaries and ACAAI officials. This symbolic act set the tone for an event dedicated to enlightenment, collaboration, and growth.

The ceremony will feature a warm Welcome Address by Anil Vazirani, Convention Chairman, who extended heartfelt greetings to all delegates and highlighted the importance of global partnerships and innovation in strengthening the air cargo sector.

This will be followed by the Presidential Address delivered by Samir J. Shah, President, ACAAI, who will share his vision for the association and the industry, emphasising resilience, digital transformation, and sustainable growth.

The event will be honoured by the presence of esteemed dignitaries — Lawlesh Kumar, Vice Consul, Consulate General of India, Bali, who will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, and  Yukki Nugrahawan, Senior Vice President, FIATA (Indonesia), as the Guest of Honour. Their addresses will underscore the strengthening bilateral relations and the shared commitment to enhancing trade and logistics connectivity between India and Indonesia.

Adding depth and perspective to the inaugural session, the Keynote Address will be delivered by Girish Vanvari, Founder, Transaction Square LLP, followed by an insightful Speaker Address by Utpal Almoula, KPMG, both of whom will shed light on emerging economic trends and strategic opportunities in the logistics and cargo ecosystem.

The session will be concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Chaitaly Mehta, Honorary Secretary General, ACAAI.
