49th ACAAI Annual Meet opens in Bali with strong industry participation

The 49th Annual Convention of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) commenced on 6 November in the beautiful city of Bali, marking yet another milestone in the Association’s journey of collaboration, growth, and industry leadership. In his inspiring Presidential Address, Samir J. Shah, President of ACAAI, emphasised the importance of collective contribution and respect within the logistics and air cargo fraternity. He remarked, “Whatever your contribution to the sector — whether it is you, your team, or your organisation — it ultimately strengthens the very industry from which we all have benefited so much. We must work together, with mutual respect and cooperation, to make the logistics sector more vibrant, acceptable, and respected. Too often, we logisticians do not receive the recognition we deserve — and that must change through our collective effort.”
Shah highlighted that the theme of this year’s convention was thoughtfully curated to address the uncertainties of the present while offering direction and hope for the future. He acknowledged the tireless efforts of the ACAAI Managing Committee, Secretariat, and Organising Team in ensuring a seamless and enriching convention experience. “My office bearers and committee members have worked diligently to make sure each of you returns fully satisfied. I urge all delegates to actively participate in every session and make the most of this opportunity for learning and networking,” he added.
Welcoming the delegates from Indonesia and other participating countries, Shah expressed confidence that the convention would provide valuable insights and a roadmap for the future —both on a professional and personal level.
As the convention unfolds over the coming days, industry leaders, stakeholders, and delegates will engage in interactive sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at shaping the future of global logistics and air cargo.
